Naturalism
Naturalism is a belief system that is self-explanitory by name; only natural forces and laws operate the world. It is believed that nothing exists outside the physical, natural world, and any changes it undergos are simply do to scientific process. The term metaphysical naturalism means that they do not believe that nature has a specific purpose, or that any kind of spiritual being, such as deities or ghosts, exist. Along with these beliefs comes the idea that man is a chance product of a biological process of evolution, and will eventually run its course on Earth and die out. The truth is almost always explained with scientific proof, and only what can be identified by the five senses is real. It is mostly believed that morals are just individual prefrences, and that even social morals are subject to evolutionary change.
